Illenium’s fifth studio album, first under newly signed record label Republic Records, was released on the 5th of February 2026 and hosts a grand collection of features from Ryan Tedder, Hayla, Bring Me The Horizon and many others. These artists provide a great juxtaposition of vocal tones and presence in each song. I went into this album as not much of an avid EDM listener, but I do enjoy the occasional EDM song. But by the end of this album, I was pleasantly surprised to see how many songs made it onto my EDM playlist.

Favourite songs:
In My Arms: It's just what I want from an EDM song, loud, fast pace and catchy. Hayla is perfect on this song.
Slave to the Rithm: As an avid metal listener, this song, featuring Bring Me the Horizon, perfectly added the harsh vocal elements of Bring Me with the Illenium EDM flair.
I felt some of the songs just didn’t hit as hard as the others on this album; for example, I wasn't a huge fan of Feels Like You and Into The Dark. With both of them not lively enough for me and a tad bit too repetitive. Furthermore, Paris, an instrumental, was not to my liking. For an EDM piece, it was good, just didn’t seem to fit into an album where it was the only instrumental.
However, this album reminds me a lot of Illenium's previous self-titled album, which I also liked, so I am pleased to see him sticking with his tried-and-tested method, but there are times you want artists to experiment and change factors of their craft, and I feel like at points in this album, I wanted just that.
Overview
Odyssey is a relatively decent showing from Illenium, offering a range of great features and uplifting beats that will be sure to light up the dancefloor of clubs across the world.
