GNX marks the return of one of the industry's greats. GNX is the sixth album by the critically acclaimed Grammy winner. The surprise release of Kendrick's album quickly circulates among the music community. With his upcoming performance at the Super Bowl and continual fallout from his beef with Drake, now was the perfect time to release this album to show the world who really is the King of hip hop.
Kendrik oozes confidence and power throughout the album, as one would expect.
Enjoyment of Each Song:
Wacced out murals - 9

Tv off - 10
Dodger blue - 9

Some of my favourite songs on the album are "Squabble Up", an upbeat, high-tempo song that will definitely get the crowd bouncing and screaming along as Kendrick smoothly works his way around the beat.
Luther featuring SZA is another that really grabbed my attention for its slower, calmer pace. Yet another collaboration with these two still makes for an excellent listening experience as the two harmonise over the chorus.
Finally, TV OFF featuring Lefty Gunplay is the other one that really stood out to me. Entering the song with such a powerful beat, Kendrick and Mustard continue the success of "Not Like Us."
After listening, I can't help but say "I need more" as the album winds down with Gloria, another collaboration with SZA.
Final Thoughts
Kendrick easily delivers an album contender for Album of the Year with GNX. This is undoubtedly a top album in the Hip Hop Genre and should be listened to by all Hip Hop fans, while also being appropriate enough for those whose first choice may not be Hip Hop. An excellent album from start to finish, full of a nice but not overpowering diversity of tracks to remind everyone who the King of Hip Hop is.
